Original sin is a concept album performed by pandora's box and caused by jim steinman.Steinman wrote almost all of this album, although there are a few of cover versions.It has been the group's only album, and was a billboard flop.

The actual album was not a commercial success(Unless in south africa), A number of songs have gone platinum with other artists.Steinman is stated to be very proud of the songs on this album, even though original sin sold very poorly compared to his highest selling albums and songs.The release charted at 43 in sweden.[1]
